Jeff Blair, age 49, of Riceville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 8, 2015. A lifelong resident of McMinn County, Jeff was of the Christian faith. He had owned and operated AAAA Pawn Shop in Athens for the past 16 years. Jeff enjoyed motorcycles, Martial Arts, golfing, cooking, camping, and spending time with friends and family. Jeff loved life to the fullest and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Pat Blair and stepfather, John Kries. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Sayda Blair and two children, who were his life, daughter, Sabrina and son, Mac, all of Riceville; mother Eula Kries, of Athens; brother, Scott Blair and wife Patti, of Palm City, FL; sister, Renee McCutcheson and husband T.J. of Chesapeake, VA; sister, Joyce Kries of Oklahoma City, OK; and brother John Kries and wife Dorinda of Riceville. Several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members also survive. A celebration of Jeff's Life will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday August 13, 2015 in the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Bates and Dr. Carlos Peterson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
