Michael Henderson

Michael Henderson, age 60, of Decatur, passed away Friday, September 4, 2015 at a local hospital. Born in Michigan, Michael spent the majority of his life in Meigs County. He served his country in the United States Navy and was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed driving race cars, motorcycles and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Joy Sayre Henderson; son, Christopher Henderson; and niece, Holli Erwin Sneed. Michael is survived by his grandson, Dylan Henderson; sister, Betilu Henderson Erwin; nephew Mark Erwin and wife Lisa; and great-nephew, Jaxson Sneed all of Decatur. Many close friends and other extended family members also survive. A private family service will be held at a later date.
