Victoria Santagata

Victoria Santagata, age 77, of Etowah, passed away Wednesday morning, September 23, 2015, at a local healthcare facility. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to the late Lester and Evelyn Dolan Bunce, she had lived a majority of her life in McMinn County. She was a wonderful cook, and loved dancing and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Joshua Aaron Preston; brother, Sonny Bunce; and sisters, Mary Peggy, Betty and Helen. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Ray Santagata of Etowah; children, Lola-Marie Peck Preston and William Matthew Peck both of Morganton, North Carolina; step-son, Randy Santagata of Knoxville; grandchildren, Brad Preston, Eric Preston , and Eric Satagata and wife Sara ; great-grandchildren, Raylie Santagata, Baylie Santagata, Ella Preston , and Caleb Preston; and sisters, Judy and Millie both of Avon Park, FL. Several nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive. The family will receive friends from 6-8p.m. Friday, September 25, 2015 at the funeral home.
