Kristy Nicole Corbin Hooper

Kristy Nicole Corbin Hooper, age 30, of Athens, passed away Tuesday morning, November 10, 2015, at a local hospital. Born in Cleveland Ohio on November 6, 1985, she had lived the majority of her life in McMinn County and was a member of Restoration Church. She was a 2004 graduate of McMinn County High School and loved spending time with her family and friends. Kristy is preceded in death by her father, Gregory Leonard Corbin; brother, James William Greer; and maternal grandfather, Samuel Welch. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Hooper; mother and step-father, Linda and Frankie Greer of Athens; children, Frankie Conner Hooper and Samantha Joanne Cook; brother, Brian Corbin of Wartburg; maternal grandmother, Shirley Welch of Athens; and paternal grandparents, Verlin and Bonnie Corbin of Georgetown. Several extended family members and friends also survive. A gathering of friends will be held from 5-7p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Serenity Funeral Home.
