Donna Lee Putnam Janzen

Donna Lee Putnam Janzen, age 64, of Etowah, passed away on Friday December 12, 2015, from an extended illness at St. Thomas – Midtown in Nashville. Born January 6, 1951 in Inglewood, California to the late Charles and Marjorie Schlotsefeld Putnam and spent the last seven years in McMinn County.

Donna is of the Christian Faith and was retired from Cox Communications in Las Vegas, NV. She was the past director of the Etowah Senior Center and enjoyed crocheting, painting and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her loving & devoted husband Wesley Curtis Janzen of 25 years; One sister, Sandy Nordenhold and husband Ralph of San Antonio, TX; One nephew, Shawn Nordenhold of Las Vegas, NV., also lifelong friend Debbie Scott of Etowah , with numerous extended family members and friends also surviving.

A Celebration of Life and Home going for Donna Janzen will be held at 8p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2015 from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Dr. Ridge Collum officiating.

The family and friends will be received between the hours of 6 – 8 p.m. prior to the service.
