Sandra Lee Poet Moore

Sandra Lee Poet Moore, age 74, of Riceville, passed away Friday, December 18, 2015, at a local healthcare facility. Born on October 11, 1941 in Virginia, to the late Robert William and Betty Jane Young Poet, she lived a majority of her life in McMinn County and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Hugh Knox Moore.

She is survived by daughter, Lisa Comerford and husband Tedd of Savannah, Georgia; son Chris Moore of Riceville; grandchildren, Payton Comerford, Preston Comerford, Victoria Moore, and Michael Moore; two sisters, Connie Sorrell and Alma Boteler both of Virgina. Neices, Nephews, and other extended family members also survive.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
