Charles “Charlie” Bond Ferguson, III, age 60 of Etowah, passed away Tuesday morning, June 7, 2016 at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home. He was one of the first members of Tri County and was the first client to work in the community showing that special needs adults can contribute to society.
In addition to his loving parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert W. and Nellie and Ida Watson; paternal grandparents, Charles Bond Ferguson and Ann Cochran; and sister, Charlotte Rose Ferguson Mullinax .
He is survived by sister, Joyce Ann Ferguson Chapman and husband Mike of Delano; brother, Jerry Dan Watson and wife Yvoughn of Madisonville; nieces and nephews, Andy “Drew” Mullinax and wife Susan, Lara Mullinax Brown and husband Josh, Shannon Cansler and husband Matthew, and Sharon Millsaps, and special friends, Mary Calhoun and Doug Swayne.
