Nadine Goodin

Nadine Goodin, age 89, of Englewood, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016, a local healthcare facility.   Born July 23, 1926, to the late Horace Greely and Elsie Hazel Snyder Jeralds; she was a native of McMinn County and spent the majority of her life in Blount County. Nadine enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and was of the Methodist faith.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her, John and Eliza Jeralds; husband Howard Goodin; son, C.Barry Goodin; brothers-in-law, Hugh Huskey and Duane Shoffeitt; and cousin,  Margaret Carroll.

She is survived by her sisters, Jeanette Huskey of Miamisburg, Ohio and Sue Shoffeitt of Englewood; nieces, Kathy ( Ronnie)Bain of Athens and Shauna(Martin) Brom of Miamisburg, Ohio; and nephew, Walt Shoffeitt of Englewood. Several other extended family members also survive.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2016, from Sunrise Cemetery with Chaplain Mike Jackson officiating. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the services.

There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
