Shirley AnnieMae White

 Shirley Annie Mae Hurst White, age 74, of Athens, went home to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga.

 She was preceded in death by her mother, Coretta Davis, father, Carl Hurst, Sr., brother, Carl Hurst, Jr. and one brother-in-law, James Clarence Parks.

 She leaves to cherish her loving memory, son Charles Edward Hurst, sister Vivan Parks, brother,, Dewey Hurst, granddaughter, Ciare Imogene Porter, great granddaughters, Da’Ziyah , JayOnah, and Francis  all of Athens, uncles, John Davis of Sweetwater and Cleo Davis of Johnson City; and a special friend Martha Alloway of Athens. Several nieces, nephews, and other extended family also survive.

Graveside services will be held at 4p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Lanetown Cemetery with Elder Luety McDermott officiating.

 The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
