Jackie Lee McKinney

Jackie  Lee McKinney, age 63, of Athens, passed away on May 9, 2017 at his residence.  Born on March 31, 1954, to the late Jack and Helen McKinney, he was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County and a veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Russell and Ricky McKinney.

 He is survived by his son, Mike McKinney of Athens; grandchildren, A.J.  and Montanna  McKinney; brothers, Mike  McKinney and wife Lisa of Athens and Danny McKinney and wife Rae Jean of New Mexico; and sisters, Brenda Fisk and Lea Bohannon of Florida. Several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members also survive.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
