Alice Faye Jaber

Alice Faye Melton Jaber , age 65, of Nashville, formerly of Etowah, passed away at Alive Hospice in Nashville on Saturday, May 13, 2017.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, W.E. “Spedge” and Nellie M. Melton; infant son, Terry L. Plemons; and, sisters Barbara G. Farmer and Nancy L. Silvers.

Alice is survived by children, Michael W. Plemons and wife Amber, Hana Jaber, Mohammed Jaber, Danyah Jaber, Hadeel Jaber , and Ameer Jaber; and grandchildren, Landon and Lily Plemons; former spouse, Ali Jaber of New York; brother Bill Melton of Lagrange, GA; sister Martha Bowers of Danville, KY; brother Knox Melton (Mayme) of Etowah, TN; and sister Jean Massengill (Garry) of Nashville, TN.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7p.m. Monday, May 15, 2017 from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Brother Ray Ingram officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 and proceed to Green Hill Cemetery for the 11 a.m. committal service.

The family will receive friends from 5-7p.m. Monday, May 15, 2017 at the funeral home prior to the service.
