Robert Jody Buckner

Robert “Jody “Buckner , age 41, of Calhoun, passed away at his residence on Sunday May 28, 2017. A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, He was currently employed at Flowers Bakery.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lyndall Buckner; brother, Michael Buckner; maternal grandparents, Ira and Minnie Free Brown; and paternal grandparents, Check and Paralee Buckner.
Survivors include his mother, Juanita Ann Jones and husband Mack of Calhoun; brothers, Billy James Buckner of Calhoun and Eddie Brannon of Cleveland; nephews, Jordan Buckner of Calhoun and Kyle Buckner of Ringgold, Georgia; and several other extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Mars Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-8p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the funeral home.
