Michael Wayne Harvey, Jr.

 Michael "Mike" Wayne Harvey, Jr , age 43 of Etowah, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017. Born in Warren, Ohio to the late Michael Wayne Harvey, Sr. and Retha Massey Harvey; he had spent the majority of his life in McMinn County and enjoyed fishing  and spending time with his family and friends.

 In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Michael Wayne Tinsley; and a granddaughter, baby girl Tinsley.

 He is survived by his daughter, Brittany Harvey of Dalton; brother, Eddie Harvey and fiancee Jennifer Shelton of Etowah; sister, Missy Lindolph and husband Rob of Youngstown, Ohio; grandchildren, Zander, Kaylee, Sawyer, and Memorie; Aunts, Debbie Stephens of Etowah; Tammy Massey and wife Mack of Decatur, Jeanie Shelton and husband Bob of Benton; and Uncle, Junior Massey and wife Cindy of Madisonville. Several extended family and friends also survive.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7p.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Brother Wilbur Wright officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial contributions be made to help defray the costs of medical and final expenses.
