NaDeen Marie Pierce Roderick, age 55 of Tellico Plains, passed away Thursday evening October 12, 2017. She was born in Ohio, and lived the majority of her life in Monroe County. She was a Member of the Athens Seventh Day Adventist Church, and loved fishing, crocheting & spending time with her family & friends.
NaDeen is preceded in death by her father, Jack Pierce, Sr.; one granddaughter, Faith Keyes and one great-grand daughter, Adalyne Murphy.
She is survived by her mother, Marge Pierce and husband Rex Keyes, Sr. of Tellico Plains; six children, Sandy (Neil) Potter of Baxter, Eddie (Jennifer) Roderick of Athens, Margaret Massingale (Nathan Wood) of Englewood, Heather (Chris) Lemarr of Tellico Plains, Jennifer (Michael) Richardson of Monroe County, and Rex Keyes, Jr (Stevie Viola) of Tellico Plains; a special grandson, Christopher Keyes of Tellico Plains; twenty-two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Sandy Darrah of Etowah; four brothers, Jack Pierce, Jr of Maryville, David Pierce of Etowah, Jim (Ann) Rahe of Tellico Plains and Fred Rahe of Ohio. There are several nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life & Home-Going will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017, in the Chapel of Serenity Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Etowah at 3 p.m. with Brother Phillip Thompson officiating.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 16, prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the chapel.
