Gladys Louise Webb-Bobo

Gladys Louise Webb-Bobo age 94, of Athens, passed away on Sunday evening, January 21, 2018, at Lifecare center of Athens. Born on April 14, 1923 in Alabama to the late John and Maggie Crump Waites, she had spent a majority of her life in Mableton, Georgia  and moved to McMinn County in 2010  to be closer to her family. She was retiredfrom Simmons Mattress, Home Depot Corporate office, and Food Depot fully retiring at the age of 87. She loved gardening and spending time with her family especially her grandson and great grandsons.  She was a member of Mt Harmony Baptist Church in Mableton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Webb, son, Donald Eugene Webb; and numerous siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Brookshire of Athens; grandson Jimbo ( Michelle) Fowler of Athens;  great- grandchildren, Lauren Hulsey of Etowah, Ryan Fowler of Athens,  Logan Fowler of Athens;  great-great grandson, Carter Graves; sister Mary Helen Sudabrink of Atlanta, Georgia; niece, Phyllis Maxwell of Atlanta, Georgia; and nephew, Gary Maxwell of Atlanta, Georgia.
 
A Celebration of Life and Graveside service will be held at a later date.
