Vivian Jean Talmadge

Vivian J. Talmadge passed away on February 22, 2018. She was born in Ruthon, Minnesota on November 25, 1938, and graduated from Ruthton High School in 1954;  was married to Lew Talmadge on August 25, 1982 for 36 years; and  she worked as a nurse for 30 years and enjoyed sewing in her free time. She was also actively involved in her church and community theater. 

Vivian was preceded by death by her parents, Folkert and Nellie Basche; and a daughter Patti Ann Glynn.

Vivian is survived by her husband Lew; three children and their families, Jay Glynn with wife Lydia and son, Sam; Kelli Duch with husband, Ray and son Ray; and Sheila Borders with husband Al and son Robby and daughter Lilly; as well as many other family and friends.

The Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Athens, Tennessee on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 3 p.m. with the Rev. G. Hendree Harrison, Jr. officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Athens, Tennessee.
