David Edward McCormack

David Edward McCormack, age 69, passed away at his residence on Monday, April 30, 2018.

He was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County.  David proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era and received two purple hearts.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Lucille Rayburn McCormack; his wife, Lynn McCormack; and one brother Ray McCormack.

Survivors include his three children, Jeremy (Candy) England of Madisonville, Tami (Michael) Sanford of Delano, and Kevin McCormack of Delano; fourteen grandchildren; and two great grandchildren; one brother, Jimmy (Jane) McCormack of Etowah; two sisters, Linda Brackner of Etowah, and Kathy (Bobby) Roderick of Etowah; and a host of extended family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be conducted on Thursday, May 3, 2018 beginning at 7 p.m. at the Chestua Baptist Church with Brother Rick Osborne officiating.

The family will receive friends and family prior to the service at the church from 6 p.m. until      7 p.m. on Thursday.
