Loretta Nicholson Danley, age 74 of Benton, and formerly of Copperhill, passed away 6/21/2018 at Signature Healthcare in Cleveland.
She was the daughter of the late Clarence T. and Clora “Mae” Weaver Nicholson. Loretta worked as a housekeeper at the Fannin Inn in Blue Ridge, GA; and she was of the Church of God faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Marion “Gene” Nobles; siblings, Clarence Nicholson, Jr, Homer Nicholson, Herman Nicholson, Charles Nicholson, Jeanette Nicholson, and Linda Sue Nicholson.
Survivors include her son and daughter-n-law, Larry and Tonda Stillwell of Gastonia, NC, son, Doyal Nobles of Benton, daughter, Loretta Nobles Queen of Benton, daughter-n-law, Sandra Nobles of Maysville, GA.; siblings, Darlene Stepp of Epworth, GA, Brenda Kay and Billy Stover of Copperhill, Doyle and Teresa Nicholson of Ducktown, Ronnie Nicholson of Copperhill, Troy Nicholson of Copperhill; Sister-n-law Rosa Smith of Griffin, GA; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; her best friend, Novella Goss of Gainesville, GA and along with many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Horse Shoe Bend Park, 1156 River Road, Mineral Bluff, GA.
