Anna Marie Ruckgaber

Anna Marie Ruckgaber, age 30, previously a resident of Etowah, tragically passed away on June 26, 2018, while visiting in Canada.

During her youth, Anna Marie, was an accomplished Saddleseat equestrian rider winning countless trophies and ribbons for her talents in the show ring.  While a student at Mountain View Elementary School in Etowah, Tennessee, Anna Marie won a number of public speaking and writing awards during her middle school years.  She attended The Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

A Biology major, Anna Marie graduated cum laude from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio.  She, being a true socially concerned humanitarian, worked tirelessly for a number of non-profits that strive to help those in the most need.

Anna Marie leaves behind her loving mother, Michelina (Michele) Guarino, of Etowah, Tennessee; her fiance’, Trevor Stewart of the Calgary, Alberta area; one sister, Heather & her father, Gerald Elmer Ruckgaber.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. in the Stateroom of Serenity of Etowah Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 300 North Tennessee Avenue (Highway 411) in Etowah, Tennessee.
