Clara Jean Dalton

Clara Jean Dalton, age 86, of Ocoee, TN, went to be with the Lord on August 5, 2018. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Dalton; son, Ronnie Dalton; parents, Andrew and Vaudie Bates; one grandson, Justin Allen Dalton; and one great-grandchild, Christian Dalton; one sister Nina Bates; and two brothers, J.C. Bates and Andrew “Satch” Bates.

Clara is survived by her children, Bobby (Arlene) Dalton of Mission Veijo, CA, Wanda (Jack) Oliver of Cleveland, TN, Wendell (Alice) Dalton of Cleveland, TN, Roy (Sarah) Dalton of Ocoee, TN, Mitchell (Angel Dalton of Dalton, GA, Travis Dalton of Ocoee, TN;  twelve grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; four sisters, Nellene Merrell, Estell (Gary) Ramsey, Juanita Burgess, and Kathy Hilbert. 

Celebration of Life and Home going will held Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Serenity of Etowah Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Daniels and Rev. Charles Moore officiating.  Interment will follow in the Archville Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Visitation will be conducted on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. in the Chapel of the funeral home.
