Jack Kelly White, Sr, age 73 of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at his residence. Born in Englewood on February 17, 1945, Jack was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County and was a member of Englewood Church of GOD and the Manila Masonic Lodge # 633. He was the owner of Englewood Safety Center and J&S Ceramic Tile. Jacky enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Fannie Mae Brown White; and a grandson, Jack Kelly White III. He is survived by his wife, Marie Sue White of Athens; children, Bobby Joe (Connie) White of Madisonville, Jack Kelly (Rena) White of Englewood, and Mary Elizabeth White of Englewood; grandchildren, Dawn Nicole (Nicholas) Bishop of Sweetwater, Amanda Faye (Anthony) Tyler of Dalton, Georgia, Lacey ( Michael) Massingale of Madisonville, Jacob Allen Buckner of Englewood, Jessica Fyffe of Dalton, Georgia, and Liam White of Sweetwater; Special Aunt, Patsy Brown of Englewood and special cousins, Gary and Ronnie Brown of Englewood. Several great- grandchildren and other extended family and friends also survive. A Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 at Sunrise Cemetery with Brother Ricky Neely officiating. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
