Alva E. Abrams

Alva E. Abrams, age 90, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2008, in a local healthcare facility. She was formerly of Brooklyn, New York. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by one sister-in-law, Muriel Abrams, Cleveland, TN; 10 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 25, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Dr. Jay McCluskey, Senior Pastor of North Cleveland Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
