Mildred Louise Albritton, 77, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2007 in a Chattanooga hospital. She was a member of Calhoun United Methodist Church and also attended Valley Head United Methodist Church. She retired after 35 years of service with Magic Chef. She was a hospital volunteer at Bradley Memorial Hospital. She was an avid doll collector. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty Kibble Guthrie.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Albritton of Cleveland; son and daughter in law, Doug and Jamie Albritton of Cleveland; three brothers, Frank Guthrie of Cleveland, Thomas and Johnnie Guthrie of Benton, and Darrell and Judy Guthrie of Tampa, FL; one grandson, Anderson Albritton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Lovelace officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Wendell Dixon, Terry Flatt, Sam Blankenship, Randy Elder, Chester Guthrie, Brent Burgner, and Tim Ownby serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, Memorial Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
