Virginia Allen

Virginia Lee Allen, 79, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday evening, March 22, 2007 in a local hospital. She was born September 29, 1927 in Altavista, Virginia to the late J. P. and Delphia Sullivan. She was a member of the North Cleveland Church of God and the Unity Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Joseph Milton Hughes and Robert Edward Allen; one sister, Beulah Banks; and two brothers, Percy Sullivan and Paul Sullivan.

Survivors include one sister, Shirley Halpain of Kansas City, KS; one brother and sister in law, Louis and Grace Sullivan of Cleveland; one stepdaughter, Carol Allen of Nashville, TN; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Shirley Halpain and Rev. Bruce Sullivan officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Unity Sunday School Class, c/o North Cleveland Church of God, 335 11th Street, Cleveland, TN 37311.
