George Edward "Ed" Baker

George Edward Ed Baker, age 77, resident of McMinn County, TN, passed away Sunday evening, February 28, 2010, at his residence. He was a resident of the Bethel Springs and Lamontville Community. He was a farmer. He attended Living Word Church in Cleveland. He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Baker and mother, Lillian Cunningham Baker.

He is survived by four brothers, Henry Baker and wife Mary of Barberton, Ohio, Homer Baker and wife Shirley and Felix Baker of Cleveland, TN and R. C. Baker and wife Gena of Calhoun, TN. Several nieces and nephews cousins and friends also survive.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Bethel Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ron Sorah officiating. Jimmy Copeland, Adam Baker, Aaron Baker, Ted Quintard and David Duggan serving as pallbearers. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home Wednesday at 12:00 noon to process to cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 2, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Grissom Funeral Home who has charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to www.grissomfh.net
