Geraldine (Jerri) Banks

Geraldine (Jerri) Banks, age 67, resident of Old Fort, TN, went to be with her Lord on March 31, 2007. She was a loving and caring wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Ellison and her mother, Delle Pennington and a brother, Robert Ellison.

She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Emmett; two sisters, Thelma Hill and Ruth Ellison and one brother Vern Ellison all of Andersonville, TN. Four sons and daughters in law, Ray and Kathy Beck, Allen and Darlene Beck, Jamie and Trudy Beck and Marty and Karen Beck, all of Cleveland, TN. Ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive. Five step children, Louise and husband, Dennis Maddux, Old Fort, TN, Henry and wife Diane Banks, Cleveland; Robert and wife Dororthy Banks, Cleveland, Glenn and wife Harlene Banks, Chattanooga and Irene and husband, Bud Jones, Cleveland. Sixteen step grandchildren and thirty step great grandchildren also survive. Also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Benny Watson and Rev. David Bowers officiating. Interment will follow in Boanerges Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
