Edwin R. Beaty

Edwin R. Beaty, age 78, lifelong resident of Bradley County, TN, passed away Saturday morning, March 15, 2008, in a local hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. He was employed for 38 years by Hamilton Concrete in Chattanooga, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ollie Beaty, and two brothers, Lee Beaty and Robert Beaty.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Beaty, McDonald, TN; one son, Jerry Beaty, McDonald, two daughters, Gloria Beaty, McDonald and Patricia Holcumb, Ft. Myers, FL; one brother, Donnie Beaty, McDonald, TN; three sisters, Dorothy Bostic and Joe Melton both of McDonald, TN and Barbara Knight, Cleveland, TN; three grandchildren, Johnathan Beaty, Tim Holcumb, Jr. and Michelle Pacheco; four great grandchildren, Austin Holcumb, Ashlyn Holcumb, Brandon and Brook Pacheco. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Ware officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery in White Oak, with Johnathan Beaty, Roy Dixon, James Akins, Sam Bostic, Danny Quails and Tim Holcumb serving as pallbearers.
