Alvin Bitzel

Alvin Lee Bitzel, age 43, resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2006, at his residence. He was employed with Maytag. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orval and Marcella Cox Bitzel and one son, Joshua Bitzel.

Survivors include his wife, Teri Bitzel, Cleveland, TN, one son and daughter in law, Chris and Dayna Bitzel, Cleveland and one daughter, Jamie Bitzel, Cleveland, TN. One brother, Truman Bitzel, Clover, South Carolina.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 1, 2006, at 3:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Ball officiating. Interment will follow in Samples Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with Gary Anderson, Ricky Donegan, Brian Smith, Matt Jaymes, Daniel Harris and Clifford Guthrie serving as pallbearers. Dustin Guthrie will serve as honorary pallbearer.
