Zachary Stephen Bowman

Zachary Stephen Bowman, age 13, resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2007, in a local hospital. Our wonderful, sweet, precious little boy left us to be with God. God needed a perfect little angel in heaven, so he chose Zach. Zach was an 8th grade student at Lake Forest Middle School where he was very active in the band. Zach was a member of the Advanced Band and the Jazz Band. He was a wonderful musician. He loved to play the drums, trombone, guitar and keyboard. He loved to play basketball and paintball and ride his four wheeler with his friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Ada Mae Bowman. Zach will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind his parents who love him so very much, Karen and Steve Bowman, Cleveland; beloved sister, Heather Bowman, Cleveland, and nephew, Cameron Achata whom he affectionately called Mr. Cameron; loving grandmother, Virginia Blankenship, Cleveland; several uncles and aunts; special aunt, Valerie Nana and Wayne Randolph, Jack and Peggy Bowman, Jan and Paul Ross, Jeanne and Bob Rogers, special uncle, Ricky Blankenship, Marty and Donna Blankenship and Mike and Rhonda Blankenship. Special cousin, David Randolph and many other cousins also survive. His special family, Tim, Michelle, Nathan and Gaige Floyd of Cleveland, TN, special friend, John Boy Achata and his extended family and his many friends at Lake Forest Middle School and Bradley Central High School.

A Celebration of the Life of Zach Bowman will be held on Monday, March 19, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at Clingan Ridge Baptist Church with Pastor Ricky Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow in Flint Springs Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church on Monday.

The family requests memorials be made to the Lake Forest Middle School Band Program in honor of Zachs appreciation of music and the band program.
