Annie Pearl Cockerham Bozeman, 83, of Valdosta, GA, and formerly of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2010. Born in Crowville, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late James Richard and Winnie Julia Milby Cockerham. While in Valdosta, she was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and a volunteer for the Mailbox Club. While making her home in Cleveland, she volunteered at SkyRidge Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Bozeman, sister, Helen Smith and brother, Arnold Cockerham.
Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy Ann Kazy of Knoxville, Sandra Jean Harris of Atlanta, Judy and Richard Pye of Valdosta; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and one sister, Ola Whitney of Winnsboro, LA.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Mausoleum of Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. William Spencer officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Langsdale Hospice House, P. O. Box 1727, Valdosta, GA 31603.
