George Edward Bozeman, age 90, resident of Georgetown, TN, passed away Monday, March 16, 2009, in a local hospital. He was of the Church of God faith and had attended the Oak Grove Church of God. He loved to sing and he enjoyed singing in the church choir. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served his country in WWII. He was a machinist. He was preceded in death by his parents, George E. Bozeman and Viola Mae Bozeman, two sons, Ronald Raymond Bozeman and Edward Lawson Bozeman.
He is survived by his loving wife, Emma Serena Bozeman, Georgetown, TN, two daughters, Freida Ann Hernandez and Shirley Estelle Mullet both of San Diego, California; two sisters, Alma Louise Akins and Beulah Mae Rollins both of Cleveland, TN; 7 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 19, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Landen Harden officiating. Interment will be private.
