Doug Cannon

Doug Cannon, age 63, resident of Decatur, TN, went home to be with the Lord Sunday morning, December 14, 2008. He passed away in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a member of the Elkmont Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Cannon, father, R. C. Cannon, mother and step father, Lois and C. L. Beaty.

He is survived by two daughters and sons in law, Rhonda and Jason Brown and Robin and Jeff Price all of Cleveland. Grandchildren, Casey Stanfield, Brandon Lee and Lindsey Johnson. One great grandchild, Makaylee Stanfield, all of Cleveland, TN. One brother, Wayne Cannon, Decatur, TN and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Hood and Rev. Johnny Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Casey Stanfield, Brandon Lee, Tommy Cannon, Jake Cannon, Daniel Jones and Travis Jones serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Grissom Funeral Home who has charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to www.grissomfh.net
