Johnnie Gail Cantrell

Johnnie Gail McKeown Cantrell, born in McMinn County and resident of Cleveland made a transitional move to a higher aspiration of living on Thursday, April 30, 2009.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John McKeown and Opal Pierce McKeown, a brother, Jim McKeown and a Sister-in-love, Sylvia McKeown.

She was a member of Short Creek Baptist Church and attended First Baptist Church of Cleveland. She was the owner and operator of The Clothes Line, a womens clothing store in Chattanooga. She loved serving life and helping others. Her flower garden at home, now fully in bloom is an expression of her oneness with nature and God.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Harry Cantrell, her son Hagen, sisters and brothers, Bill McKeown, Larry McKeown, Diane and Gerald Lillard, Sarah McKeown, and Linda Jarvis as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday May 4, at Grissom Funeral Home between the hours of 3-7 PM. Join us as we celebrate Johnnies life officiated by Dale Harmeson and Bill McKeown at 7 PM.

Memorials may be made to Bradley/Cleveland Public Education Foundation ( 423-476-0034) in lieu of flowers.
