Marie Crisp

Marie M. Crisp, age 88, resident of Birchwood, TN, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2009, in a Cleveland hospital. She was a devout Christian and was a member of the Burdette Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Crisp, parents, Jessie and America Tennessee Hardin Bunch, 2 sons, Robbie Dean Crisp and Arvil Crisp, four brothers, Bill, Taylor, George and Ernie Bunch and 4 sisters, Carrie Howard, Sarah Sewell, Jessie Juanita Bunch and Emma Crisp.

She is survived by her loving children, five sons and daughters in law, Gene (Joyce) Crisp, Cleveland; Virgel (Annice) Crisp, Hartselle, AL; Curtis (Brenda) Crisp, Cleveland; Carlos (Judy) Crisp, Georgetown and Ronald Crisp, Birchwood; three daughters and sons in law, Ida Mae Weathers, Cleveland; Eva Jean and Gary Collier, Desoto, MO. And Iva Dell and Charles Lauderback, McDonough, GA. 34 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 20, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. David Evans and Rev. Virgel Crisp officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the Gideons Bible Association.
