Hattie Dunn Davis

Hattie Dunn Davis, age 80, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2010, in a local hospital. A native of Bradley County, Mrs. Davis was retired from Duracell Battery. She was a member of Clingan Ridge Baptist Church. She was active in the Bingo club at Wellington Place. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Margaret Shelton Dunn, three brothers, Tom Dunn, James and Crawford Ogle and four sisters, Ola Mae Burk, Julie Phillips, Blanche Moats and Martha Bowlin.

She is survived by three sons, Allan Ledford, Hendersonville, TN, Carlos Darnell, Matthews, North Carolina and Kenneth Darnell, Ayer, Massachussets; one daughter, Sue Cofer, Cleveland, TN; 5 grandchildren, Amy Shoemaker, Mark Ledford, Kristen Ledford, Brittany Morris and Renae Wright; 8 great grandchildren, Jack and Alex Shoemaker, Andrew Brent Wright, Brittany Grisby, Nicole and Kayla Ledford, Ansley Grace Morris and Eden Wright. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service for Hattie Davis will be held Monday, April 19, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Grissom Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lee Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with John Earle officiating. Pallbearers will be Charles Bagley, Mark Ledford, Kendall Davis, Brian Shoemaker, Andre Wright and Andrew Brent Wright.
