Linda Davis

Mary Linda Davis, age 54, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Tuesday morning, June 17, 2008, at her residence. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she was an ordained elder, member of the church choir and was a member and teacher of St. Andrews Sunday School Class. She served with Bradley Initiative for Church and Community. She was employed with Aflac Insurance Co. She was an avid hiker and was a member of the Benton Mackaye Hiking Club, the Hiwassee and Cherokee Hiking Club and the National Hiking Society. She was preceded in death by her parents, James G. Nave and Rita LeBlanc Nave.

She is survived by her two beloved daughters, Melina and husband, James, Harris and Ashley Keith both of Cleveland; two loving sisters, Annette McCall and Patricia Bowerman, both of Cleveland; three grandchildren, Eric and Jacob Harris and Dallion Keith; two nieces, Jennifer McCall and Brittany Bowerman and one nephew, Josh McCall.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 20, 2008, at 4:00 p.m. at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Cliff Hudson officiating. Interment will follow in Ft. Hill Cemetery with Ed Sharp, Jeff Morelock, Tom Newman, Tommy Newman, Gary Silcox and Steve Wright serving as pallbearers. Members of the St. Andrews Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers. The body will lie in state for two hours prior to the service at the church.
