Lucy Dosser

Lucy Ann Dosser, age 99, resident of Riceville, TN, passed away Friday, December 28, 2007, in a local health care facility. She was a member of the Calhoun Baptist Church and a retired school teacher with McMinn County Schools. Mrs. Dosser was the youngest of eight brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her son, John W. Dosser and seven brothers and sisters.

She is survived by four grandchildren, Paige Elizabeth Dosser and husband, Lockhart Taylor, Raleigh, N. C.; Ellen Dosser Huntley and husband, Eddie Huntley, Marshville, N.C.; John Edwin Dosser and wife, Sloan, Charlotte, N. C. and Kathryn Dosser Hoover and husband, Curran, Raleigh, N. C.; seven great grandchildren, Eliza Taylor, Virginia Taylor, Parsons Huntley and Katie Paige Huntley, Lucy Anne Dosser, Ann Cannon Hoover and Curran Hoover. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, December 30, 2007, at 5:00 p.m. at Calhoun Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ron Sorah officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Calhoun Baptist Church Cemetery fund.

The family will receive friends Sunday, December 30, 2007, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Calhoun Baptist Church.
