Emmerlean Draper, age 80, resident of Cleveland, died Saturday, February 10, 2007, at her residence. Emmerlean was born in Banks County, Georgia. She was retired from Hardwick Clothes as a presser. She was an avid gardener and she also loved to quilt. One of her greatest joys in life was taking care of her two pets. She attended the Lakeview Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donal Draper, parents, Dewey A. Ledford and Texie Cheek Ledford, brothers, A. B. Ledford, Corbett Ledford, George Ledford, Clyde Ledford, Johnny Ledford and Charles William Ledford and sisters, Lula Mae Ledford, Jerry Gauthier and Lillie Browder.
She is survived by three sisters, Bonnie Goodner and Mattie Lou Goben both of Cleveland and Myrtle Katherine Ledford Cox, Joliet, Illinois, three brothers, Willie D. Ledford, Cleveland, TN, Paul Ledford, Shorewood, IL and Joe Phillip Ledford, Sweetwater, TN. Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. James Castello and Rev. Ronnie Ledford officiating. Interment will follow in Boanerges Baptist Church Cemetery with nephews serving as pallbearers.
