Edna Dye

Edna Marie Dye, 93, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2006 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of East Side Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Dye; parents, Gordon and Bertie Carroll Turner; four brothers, Lee Turner, Warren Turner, Clyde Turner, and Melvin Turner; and one sister, Lela Davis.

Survivors include one brother, Junior Turner of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Minister Jeff Archey officiating. Interment will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Fort Hill Cemetery with Edd Turner, Bill Burchfiel, Bill Watson, Vernon Mooneyham, Tommy Raines and Terry Prince serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
