Wanda Forgey

Wanda Forgey, a resident of Cleveland, passed away early Monday morning, August 20, 2007 in a local hospital. She was a member of Heritage Church of God. She was named Life Care Resident of the Year-2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Forgey; father, Robert Thomas; one brother, Tony Thomas; and one sister, Joetta Jackson.

Survivors include one son, Ray Forgey of Cleveland; one daughter, Ruthie Forgey of Cleveland; mother, Ruth Buckner of Chattanooga; three brothers, Danny Thomas and Hobby Thomas, both of Chattanooga, Steve Thomas of Oklahoma; two sisters, Debbie Thomas and Robbie Dean Thomas, both of Chattanooga; three grandchildren, Tyler Forgey, Nicholas Forgey, and Alex Forgey; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at Mt. Olive Church of God.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Olive Care Ministry, Mt. Olive Church of God, 3522 Harrison Pike, Cleveland, TN 37311.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
