Obituary Notice Deceased: Lois Mildred Godsey

Lois Mildred Godsey, age 86, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2007, at her residence. Lois was married to the late Rev. C. B. Godsey. She was a member of the East Side Church of God. She will be remembered as a loving and caring Christian lady who made a positive impact on all who knew her. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Katie Pangle and seven sisters and one brother.

She is survived by her beloved daughter and son in law, Melinda and Steve Holder of Cleveland, TN and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at 12 Noon at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Harris and Rev. Wendell Smith officiating. Special music by Donna Summerland and Gary Holder. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with J.D. Holder, Gary Holder, Bud Wisseman, Michael Utterback, Wayne Carter, Shannon Greer serving as pallbearers.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the East Ridge Church of God Building Fund.
