Helen L. Goins

Helen L. Goins, age 73, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2008, at the family residence with her loving family by her side. She was a devout Christian. She was born in Jackson County, Indiana and raised in Campbellsburg, Indiana. She was the comptroller for Jackson Manufacturing for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Goins, brother, Jerry Neideffer and parents, Merald Malloy and Mary Neideffer and step father, Harold Neideffer.

She is survived by one son, Roger Goins, Cleveland, TN; one brother, Roger Malloy, Athens, TN, grandchildren, Jordan and husband, Randy, Hammontree and Michael Goins. One great granddaughter, Kyleigh Hammontree. Special companion of 9 years, Hobert Hopkins, Turtletown, TN. Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends also survive.

A celebration of the life of Helen L. Goins will be held Friday, September 12, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Fraternal Order of Eagles #945 located at 6130 Airways Blvd. Chattanooga, TN 37421.
