Roger D. Goins

Roger D. Goins, age 53, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2008, in a local hospital. He was a member of the North Cleveland Church of God. He was a well known local businessman and was the owner and operator of Rogers Paint and Decorating Company. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He was an avid race car fan. He had a tremendous love for music and enjoyed playing the guitar. Roger had many friends and he will be missed. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Helen Malloy Goins and Robert Henry Goins.

He is survived by his loving children, one daughter and son in law, Jordan and Randy Hammontree and one son, Michael Goins; one very special granddaughter, Kyleigh Hammontree, all of Cleveland, TN.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 28, 2008, at 4:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Smith officiating. Interment will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
