Alberta Goss

Alberta Goss, age 82, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Wednesday morning, November 4, 2009, in a local health care facility, after a short illness. She was a member of Faith Memorial Church and a faithful worker of the Little Peoples Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Wayne Watson.

She is survived by her daughters, Louise Watson of Arkansas, Nellie Massengale and Joann Floyd both of Cleveland; Five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn Thornton of Lexington, North Carolina and one brother, James Patton of Chattanooga, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 6, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Memorial Church with Pastor Larry Green officiating. Interment will follow in Ft. Hill Cemetery with Robert Goss, Ronald Massengale, Gene McGhee and Eddy Patton serving as pallbearers.
