Emma Jean Gregg

Emma Jean Gregg, age 78, lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2009, in a Chattanooga hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was formerly employed with Stanfield Photography Studios and was a bookkeeper for City Auto Parts. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Gregg, Jr., her parents, Howard Griffith, Sr. and Sally Walker Griffith, and one brother, Howard Griffith, Jr.

She is survived by two daughters and sons in law, Julie and David Kouchoukos and Jenny and Suhail Saad; one very special grandson, Nicholas Gregg Kouchoukos; one brother, Donald Griffith; two sisters, Iva Dean Watson and Wilma Moore Goodwin; one sister in law, Julia Forrestine Matheny; devoted family friends, Kathy Young and Roger, Patty and Josh Jenne. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 30, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Glen Griffith, Ronnie Moore, Victor Hicks, Roger Langlo, Mike Jenne and Matt Jenne serving as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
