Blanch Harrison

Blanch Harrison, age 81, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2009, in a Ooltewah, TN healthcare facility. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church where she was very active in the Womens Ministry. She was self employed as a seamstress for many years. She was a 1946 graduate of Bradley High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Harrison, son, David McGee Harrison, brother, Roy McGee, three sisters, Willie (Bill) Rutledge, Ruby Waller and Marie Cross and one grandson, Michael Harrison.

She is survived by her daughter in law, Louise Harrison, Gallatin, TN, brother in law, Roy Harrison, Cleveland, TN, one grandson and his wife, Chad and Sarah Harrison, Gallatin, TN and three great grandchildren, Autumn Melody Harrison, Jakob Harrison and Jonathon Harrison and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Paul and Rev. Kenneth Scoggins officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Danny Coggin, Andrew Coggin, Richard Harrison, Aaron Harrison, Dan Cross and John Wilson serving as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to the Asbury United Methodist Church building fund.
