Bill Helms

William David Bill Helms, age 55, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at his residence. He was presently employed with Steve Williams Construction Co. He was a member of the Elks Lodge. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Chatata Valley Golf Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wheeler Helms, Jr. and Marie Hauer Helms.

He is survived by one brother and sister in law, Breck and Sandy Helms, Cleveland, TN; two nephews and spouses, Jim and Kendal Helms, Chattanooga and Jody and Erica Helms, Cleveland, TN, two great nieces, Zoe Helms and Haylyn Helms and two great nephews, Hunter and Zack.

A gathering of friends for a time of remembrance of the life of Bill Helms will be held Monday, April 13, 2009, at 4:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home.

Eddie Phillips, Steve Sullivan, Scotty Hannah, Rodney Hannah, Clark McDaniels, Chuck Maddux, Tommy Kimsey and Michael Penny will serve as honorary pallbearers.
