William Edward Bill Henck, age 72, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Wednesday evening, March 3, 2010, in a local hospital. He was a member at The Church at Grace Point where he was active in the Mens Ministry. He was veteran of the United States Army and was an Army Ranger. He served his country in the Korean and Vietnam War. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Henck, one son, Michael Henck, one sister, Barbara Chipps and brother in law, Jim Chipps.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Koons Henck, Cleveland, TN; one sister, Mary Louise Buck, Morgantown, West Virginia; nieces and nephews, Laura S. Ghuste, Jennifer Banister, Jamie Leonian and James E. Chipps, Jr., Amy Walters, Billy Buck; his mother in law, Gerry Koons, sister in law, Kathleen Zentz and brothers in law, George A. Koons and Thomas W. Koons.

A Celebration of the Life and Home Going of Bill Henck will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Dr. Phil Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Ft. Hill Cemetery with Military Honors.

Memorials may be made to the Honduras Mission Trip at The Church at Grace Point.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Grissom Funeral Home who has charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to www.grissomfh.net
