Mary Louise Hickman

Mary Louise Hickman, age 82, resident of Cleveland, TN, went home to be with her Lord Tuesday morning, October 9, 2007. She passed away in a Chattanooga hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the oldest living member of the Mt. Olive Church of God. She was a homemaker. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by father and mother, Henry Clay and Hattie Baker, four brothers, Ira Baker, Paul Baker, Willis Baker, Ralph Baker.

She is survived by her husband, James Hickman, one son and daughter in law, Thomas and Sue Hickman, Cleveland, TN; two daughters and sons in law, Charletta and Pastor Gary Sears, Cleveland, TN and Linda and Paul Plotzer, Clarksville, TN; six grandchildren, Kenneth Hickman, Sharvetta and Ken Bess, Rev. James and Shannon Sears, all of Cleveland, Natasha Jacobs, Tallahassee, FL and Tracy and Mark Atchison, Dickson, TN and Travis Plotzer. Seven great grandchildren, Brittany and Kaithlyn Hickman, Tucker, Carson and Breyden Sears and Preston and Garrison Bess. One sister, Melba Randolph, Cleveland, TN. Several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of the Life of Mary Louise Hickman will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2007, 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive Church of God with Pastor Gary Sears and Pastor James Sears officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Ken Bess, James Sears, Travis Plotzer, Kenneth Hickman, Howard Mathews and Lawrence Mathews serving as pallbearers.
