Flora Ann Hiefnar

Flora Ann Hiefnar, age 87, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Friday morning, May 8, 2009, in a local hospital. She was retired from Magic Chef after 28 years of dedicated service. She was a devoted member at Clingan Ridge Baptist Church. She loved to quilt and belonged to a quilting club at her church. She was an avid bowler. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Libby Womac Brown, one daughter, Dorothy Walker, one brother, Leroy Brown.

She is survived by two sons, Martin Hiefnar, Athens, TN and Frank Hiefnar, Cleveland, TN; three daughters, Melva Brown and Mary ODaniel both of Cleveland and Bettye Knight, Raceland, Louisiana; four brothers, Bobby, Donald, Billy and Wayne Brown. 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 10, 2009, at 4:00 p.m. at Clingan Ridge Baptist Church with Pastor Ricky Vaughn and Rev. Bill Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with grandson and deacons of the church serving as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Clingan Ridge Baptist Church building fund.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home and Sunday for one hour prior to the service at the church.
